Views of constituents

I have met and continue to meet constituents to listen to their concerns, including at a recent stall on Ilford High Street in early September, supported by fellow neighbouring Prospective Parliamentary Candidates Neil Anderson, Ilford North (pictured), and Zulf Jannaty, Leyton & Wanstead.

There is an overwhelming view that politician are not fit for purpose and there is record levels of distrust in politicians given their inability to deliver on their manifesto promises. In addition, I wish to highlight the profile views of supporters on this page to reflect some of the viewpoints of local people.

Barbara, Newbury Park

I recently met Barbara, accompanied by her husband Brian, on 29 September, retiree and Brexit supporter to hear about some of her views and policy ideas about making the UK better but also how we life needs to be significantly improved for the elderly.  Brian spent his whole career, from 1962 to 2008 in the railway industry (and coincidentally we found out worked with my late Grandfather, a train guard at Ilford Station in the 1980s and 90s). Barbara and Brian have been let down by our MP and the main political parties. She now only has hope in the Brexit Party and I promised her I would share her insightful views (I should state these views are Barbara’s own political views). You can read more about Barbara here.
